At Delrue, a physiotherapy practice specialized in sports rehabilitation, running analysis was already an important part of the patient journey. Nicolas Delrue, together with his six colleagues, shares a common goal: to provide every patient with the highest quality care and objective insights for optimal recovery and performance.
Although their approach delivered strong results, the team felt there was still a missing piece: an objective and structured solution that could support their analyses, strengthen patient communication, and integrate seamlessly into a broader rehabilitation strategy.
They were looking for a solution that was professional, practical, and easy to implement in a busy clinical environment.
Nicolas Delrue first came across OnTracx through social media. Shortly after, OnTracx reached out and Nicolas quickly became interested in the possibilities of the platform. After an on-site visit and a team discussion with all colleagues in the practice, the decision was made collectively: OnTracx was the right fit.
Since they started using OnTracx in their practice, the collaboration has stayed very hands-on. Communication with the OnTracx team remains smooth and accessible, allowing the Kine Delrue team to easily share questions and feedback whenever needed.
Before OnTracx, Kine Delrue was already performing running analyses based largely on their own expertise, but they lacked a structured and objective tool to support the process.
Today, OnTracx is fully integrated into their complete running analysis system. Every OnTracx measurement is combined with a broader knee and movement assessment, including additional tests such as muscle shortening and strength evaluations. This allows the team to approach every patient with a total rehabilitation strategy instead of focusing on isolated symptoms.
The screening functionality is currently used most frequently, while the team is excited to further expand the use of load-based training programs.
”What makes OnTracx unique is that the screening test is both very insightful, but also actionable. Based on the screening, an individualized & load-based return-to-run program is generated within seconds.”
Delrue also collaborates closely with Slowrunning, a running store specialized in running equipment. Insights from the OnTracx analysis help provide valuable input to the store, allowing more personalized and informed shoe and equipment advice for runners.
For the Delrue team, the biggest strengths of OnTracx are its clarity, simplicity, and ease of use. Nicolas describes the platform as intuitive and smooth to work with in daily practice.
What stood out most was how concrete and actionable the insights are, both for practitioners and patients. While there were a few small imperfections in the early stages, the continuous support and responsiveness from the OnTracx team helped create a positive and evolving collaboration.
“For us, OnTracx truly adds value to rehabilitation and injury prevention; whereas we used to rely on pain as an indicator, we now have objective data.“
Today, OnTracx has become an important part of Delrue’s modern and evidence-based approach to sports rehabilitation.
